Hi everyone, it’s Vicki here today and I want to share a layout I made inspired by the July moodboard which you can see here below my layout. I used the June 2020 kits for this layout.
For this layout, I focused on the colours in the moodboard – the pinks, oranges and yellows. The Let’s Stay Home collection from Pinkfresh Studio has plenty of embellishments that worked perfectly and the paper with all the squares was my starting point. I cut out four of each of the pink/orange/yellow squares and arranged them in a grid on my page, ruffled the edges and then sewed between the squares.
I then started to layer up my photo using some papers and dies cuts by Pinkfresh Studio from the main kit and some of the exclusive Hip Kit die cuts from the embellishment kit. I tried to stick with tone on tone, but some of it goes astray!
I also added in some sequins and enamel dots from the kits which were a perfect match.
Some embellishments were raised on foam and some tucked behind to add dimension and interest.
I do hope this gives you some inspiration for the kits – I’d love to know what you think and do shout out if you have questions. Thanks for looking.
