Recipe Challenge Layout | Sophie Delorme

Happy Friday crafty friends !

It’s Sophie with you and I am sharing a layout based on a Recipe Challenge this week !

The ingredients of the recipe are: Stamping, Punches, Mixed Media, White cardstock background, Stitching and 2-3 photos…!!! Ohhh yesss, we can do this !!!

I used the June 2020 kits for my page.

I went for a vertical design today, using 3 photos of Sabrina and our dog playing outside during the lockdown. My mixed media background is done with watercolor paint applied with the packaging technique in purple, blue and green in a centered vertical line behind my photos.

I backed my white cardstock with the Stamp Market Miss Modern Oh Happy Day Paper and a thiny scalloped border punched out of the Bazzil Ocean Breeze Smooth Cardstock from the Cardstock kit. I machine stitched around it with white thread.

Then, I added many embellishments that are mainly from Pinkfresh Studios and beautiful HKC exclusives from the Main kit, the Embellishment kit and the Pocket Life kit.

I used a punch from my stash for the little butterflies, and another one for the cute envelope in the lower right cluster of the page.

I used a stamp date, a “Together” tag from the exclusive stamp set in the Main kit, and another exclusive “Staying Home” stamp that I heat embossed from the Pocket Life kit.

I had fun making this page ! Even though there were a lot of ingredients to include in the recipe, I adored taking part of this challenge. You should give it a try !
