Cut file inspired february theme | Cristina Sales

Hi ladies Cristina here with a new project to show you. Today I have a cut file page to try inspire you with some ideas on how to use the beautiful cut files available here.

I chose that one with an amazing and so cool phrase “color me happy” because it perfectly match with my pic and the idea on what I would love to make for this project.

On this page I added elements by the following kits:

cardstock kit embellishment kit color kit pocket life kit paper kit.

The february kits are full of Pinkfresh Studio new collection Noteworthy and I really fell in love for it to make my composition.

First I chose the sheet for my page and obviously I decided for my favorite one that is a white bazzill canvas so soft and perfect for a mixed media page. I love how the color is captured by the raised lines of this particular kind of bazzill.

I decided to make a mixed media page because I think this is the perfect way to emphasize the cut file creating a contrast between the white base and the white cut file too.

For my watercolor background I used the magical pigment by Lindy’s Stamp Gang that is amazing because each time you use it you can’t know how it will turn out, inside it has so many different shades of pink color. The color you’ll get will be different each time because on depend by how much of each shade you spread on your sheet.

I love what came out on this page.

My favorite combo colors is pink and mint, so the Heidi Swapp paper inside the main and paper kit was perfect for this match. It has a side with a watercolor effect by mint to blue and so I decided to use it to make an off-set cut for my phrase. You already have it when you download the file.

To complete my composition I used foam double tape to glue the white cut phrase on the top of the off-set one.

Finally I added the puffy elements of the Noteworthy collection by Pinkfresh Studio all around the words. I chose that one perfectly fit for color and shape on my page. This new collection is really amazing, full of tiny elements and lovely decorations to use in so many ways.

Thanks a lot for stopping by and I hope to inpire you in some way to create your own creative projects. If you decide to share them with us please go beyond on the Facebook member forum and take us the chance to see them.

See you lovelies.
