Hi everyone, welcome back to the blog today. Jana here and i have a fun new and moodboard inspired layout for you. I am working with the stunning February 2020 Kits and below is the awesome moodboard for this month.
I was totally inspired by the middle image with all of the tassels. I grabbed my embroidery floss and created a bunch of cute tassels, inspired by the colors in the kits. I decided to go with the blues, greens and some yellow. The picture shows my little sister in the year 1983! such a cutie, right?!
I only splatterd some black aryclic ink on the white cardstock, just for some contrast and a little something something peeking out from behind. The pompoms on the image inspired me to punch out some circles and hearts from the patterned papers.
I really love the varity of colors this month.
I´ve not planned to work tone on tone but it happened… all by itself 😉
The Pinkfresh Studio mixed embellishment pack from the Embellishment Kit had some perfect little epoxy stickers and wood buttons for this page. As you can see i also added some tangled thread underneath some of the papers. I love the mess look!
The sticker book from Paige Evans/Pink Paislee (included in the Main Kit) had also some cute little details to add. Some hearts and stars… oh my! I love it! The green leaves added the perfect “extra” between the tassels.
There were also some matching bits in the Pinkfresh Studio Noteworthy Ephemera Pack. I glued everything down with my hot glue gun, it´s giving some dimension, shadows and it´s super quick to use.
I really hope you´re inspired by the current moodboard and that you´ll grab it for your next project. Don´t forget to share it in our Member Group over at Facebook.
