Hey everyone, this is Niki with a fun layout made using the January kits. My assignment today was to focus on the Pinkfresh Studio ‘My Favorite Story’ frames that were in the January Embellishment kit.

I actually didn’t have that many of the My Favorite Story frames left as I had used quite a few on previous layouts! So my initial idea of a grid-style layout using the frames was out. I therefore settled on using the beautiful rainbow paper which I cut up and arranged onto a piece of white cardstock. Where the rainbows crossed over, I layered my remaining frames to make a vertical design on my layout. For once I used frames for what they are intended – to frame something! I often use them as layers rather than to actually frame my photos but this time my photos fitted inside two of the frames perfectly.
I stitched through each rainbow stripe using white thread on my sewing machine. I added a few hearts on a colour-on-Colour basis. I also added some of beautiful Pinkfresh Studio bows from the Embellishment kit. I also used Pinkfresh Studio white alphabet stickers to add my title which are also from the Embellishment kit.
I finished off with some enamel dots from the January Pocket Life kit and some splatters using the pink Lindy’s Magical powder from the January Color Kit.
