Lucky Us cards – Lisa Fonseca

Hey friends,

it’s Lisa back on the blog and today I’m sharing some very cuuuuuuuute cards 🙂

The assignment for this week was to make cards using the Lucky Us products. I love this collection and I love to use those kinds of colors. We had two patterned papers included in the Main and Paper Kits. I started by fussy cutting some strips of hearts from one of the papers. Then I hand-cut some hearts from the beautiful cardstock sheets from the Cardstock Kit and I created a design on the long rectangular card. Then I went to my stitching machine and stitched through the rows of hearts. I love that look!! 🙂 I also gave the hearts some more detail, by adding some white borders.

I then added a cute bear face, that I had paper-pieced, to the card and some embellishments, like a foam sticker and puffy stickers from the Pocket Life and Embellishment kits.

For the second card I cut out some hearts to create a clover and added some clouds behind it. Of course, it needed a bear head too.

For the noses of the bears, I used the puffy heart stickers (Embellishment Kit) from Lucky Us. I also added some glitter enamel hearts (Main Kit) and a glitter foam word (Pocket Life Kit).

For my third card, I used the same embellishments and I also fussy-cut some letters.

I hope you like them and are inspired to use the pretty Lucky Us collection and also to make cute paper-pieced critter heads 🙂
