Hello everyone! Christina here with a new layout, based on this week’s sketch by my dear Design Team colleague Sophie Delorme, and using the Hip Kit Club November 2019 Main, Embellishment & Cardstock Kit.

I was also asked to include some sparkle in my layout – I feel like I failed, because my sparkle is at an absolute mininum, but well… Here’s my layout:

As a base, I used one of the light blue cardstocks from the Cardstock Kit. Next, I chose 2 white and black patterned papers that would go well with my black and white photo, and cut two pieces of about the size of my photo.

Then I began to embellish the 2 patterned paper pieces. For the left one, I glued down one of the Christmas tree die cuts from the Main Kit, added some sequins, glued an acetate jar from the Embellishment Kit on top, and added some more Christmas trees in various sizes.

On the right side, I used some more acetate shapes from the Embellishment Kit, combining the snowflakes and Christmas ornaments, and also added the little penguin sticker and a little house sticker (both from the Embellishment Kit).

I also added some clusters of flower die cuts and that cute girl from the Ephemera Pack included in the Main Kit.

 

To finish my layout off, I added the title, some spray splatters and my journaling…
