Hello wonderful scrapbookers and a big Merry Christmas to you all. I hope that you are all having a lovely Christmas season and enjoying all the lovely traditions that make Christmas magical.

I have to admit that it’s only recently that I have a started to feel the Christmas spirt which was found with some inspiration in the Hip Kit Club facebook group and the wonderful November Kits & December Documented kits. I can now thankfully feel the Christmas mojo coming to life. Inspired by Decembers mood board here is a Christmas layout highlighting a sweet moment my son was having with his girlfriend.

I was challenged by the team to create a layout that had some sparkle and couldn’t turn away from the gorgeous scallop edge washi tape by Jen Hadfield. I love this tape so much that I was nervous about using it. I am so glad I did as I love the effect it had on my layout.

I also wanted to add some ribbon. In the kits there are three beautiful ribbons and using a small stapler I managed to add a couple of loops on the edge of my photo making a sweet feature.

Lastly, I could resist, I had to find a way to include some stamping and created a sweet border along one edge of my layout to help balance the page while at the same time creating a unique effect.
