Cut File Magic with Sophie Delorme !

Hello Hip Kit friends ! It’s Sophie again today sharing a layout featuring the gorgeous November 2019 kits and one of the November Subscriber’s Cut file called “Stockings” designed by the lovely Anett Gelencser.

I used one of the exclusive patterned papers from the “Make a wish” collection called “Be Merry” as my background, applied white gesso in the center and added watercolors with the packaging technique behind where I had planned to put my cut file. I also added white acrylic paint splatters to give a snowy feel to my page.

I backed the cut file with different colored Cardstocks from the Cardstock kit, as well as vellum and patterned paper from the paper kit and pocket life kit.

I put a pocket life card next to my photo and printed my journaling on vellum on top of it. I placed some Christmas tree die cuts (main kit) around my photo and journaling, and fussy cut some small Christmas trees out of the “Oh Christmas Tree” patterned paper (paper kit) to layer as leaves on both ends of the cut file.

My title comes from the HKC exclusive Puffy Phrase Stickers (Embellishment kit) and the Make a Wish Puffy White Alphabets (main kit).

I must admit that I am totally in love with those soft colors that match perfectly the photo, showing my sweet girl and the truly special bond that she and our dog Fiona have.
