Hey everyone! This is Niki and here is my latest layout for Hip Kit Club using the October 2019 Hip Kits. There is also a process video for this layout which can be viewed at the end of this blog post.

I chose to focus on the plaid patterned paper from the October Main kit, which is a paper by Pretty Little Studio and is part of the Indian Summer Collection. It’s my favourite paper in the kit and I’ve actually been a little in love with this pattern since I first saw it on the Pretty Little Studio packaging from earlier kits and I was so happy to have it in 12×12 size.

I have used the plaid pattern in a very large piece on my background and then I stitched through all the lines on my serwing machine using a gold thread.

I created a photo cluster over on the right side and used lots of embellishments and journaling cards from the October 2019 Hip Kits. I’ve used lots of exclusives including the Chipboard, ephemera and stickers. I also added some enamel hearts and dots.

I finished off by adding acetate leaves and some splatters of the golden Lindy’s Spray.
