Hello HKC friends!  It’s Anett, and I’m sharing my first layout here on the blog that I created using the October 2019 Hip kits.  Today, I am focusing on the Main Kit for my Fall layout.

There are so many beautiful goodies in the Main kit. I love the Pink Paislee – Page Evans – Truly Grateful 07 paper with the fun, colorful trees on it, and my other favorites are the HKC Exclusive – Cozy Up – Puffy Phrase Stickers. I wanted to use them both.

I love to add dimension to my pages. I decided to cut the trees with a craft knife, but only on the sides. Don’t cut at the top and at the bottom, so it stays on place, jut bend up the sides, and create a fun dimensional background. I used just one third of it on my page, I left the rest of the background white, I just added a few pink and blue watercolor splatters.

I fussy cut some trees and I could’t resist to fussy cut all the little bits and pieces like little mushrooms, and all the chicken. They are so cute, so I used foam tape and built up a little scene with them on the bottom right corner.

I did not do much layering under my photo, but I used foam tape to raise it a bit, to stay in focus. I used hand stitching to create the effect of falling leaves. This adds some interest to the layout. I used some HKC exclusive ephemera for embellishing, and the Puffy Phrase Stickers as my title.

On the photo you can see me and my children. I tried to make some selfies, but it became a huge romp. Anyway, I got my selfie, but a little different one. I might like it this way even more ♥
