Hi everyone! Stephanie here today with a little fall card set using the September 2019 kits. My assignment was to make three cards based on the sketch for October 18th, but to flip the sketch and see how it inspired me. I think they each have unique qualities of their own, but still feel like a matching set that I plan to gift to friends.
The way the sketch is kind of clustered near the top of the layout really inspired me to try and position my clusters around each corner of the cards. Card one (seen above), was made along the right edge of the card, I clustered on a few of the fussy cut flowers I had leftover and then added my sentiment. When I was finished adding in a few pop dots under areas of the flowers, I sprinkled on a few enamels. Each of the cards has a piece of vellum from the kit layered underneath of the flowers, I love the soft look it gives.
For card number two I decided to start from the top edge of the card, I added in flowers with some pop dots here and there then finished it off with my sentiment and enamels. My sentiment was cut from the This is Family – Fun Times patterned paper.
Card number three was based on the far left side of the card, with my sentiment cut from the Pink Paislee Truly Grateful Swatch Books. I added in a sticker and yellow enamel to tie it in with the rest and finish it off.
Thank you for stopping by today to take a peek at what I created for you! Hope you each have a wonderful week!
xoxo-Steph
