Moodboard inspired | Sophie Delorme

Hello crafty friends ! It’s Sophie on the blog today sharing a layout inspired by the beautiful August Moodboard designed by Lisa Fonseca.

I focussed on the pink and orangy flowers from the right middle photo as my base for my page, and started by using a cut file from June 2019 designed by Kimberly Hutchison called “Floral Clusters”. I separated the flowers and leaves, duplicated them in different sizes and cut them on a Pinkfresh Studio paper (flowers) and white cardstock (leaves).

I painted the flowers with a little bit of the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Hibiscus Rose Flat Fabio Spray from the July color kit, and the leaves with different shades of green with some Distress Oxide inks from my stash. I also fussy cut a few daisies on which I applied gelato on their center to add a little bit of orange.

I let that dry, and worked on my background. I applied white modeling paste on a Carta Bella Stencil from an older color kit, and played with the Lindy’s Stamp gang powders from the April, May and June color kits, , adding lots of water, for a cool pinky-peachy effect.

Then, I started to embellish a photo of my sweet daughter with all those flowers and leaves, and used a gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio yellow tag from their ephemera in the July Pocket Life kit as my title.

Here are the close-ups. I hope you’ve found some inspiration in this layout or in the Moodboard this month ! Thank you so much for passing by and have a wonderful crafty Sunday !
