Hello crafty friends ! Sophie here with you sharing a layout where the focus is on the HKC exclusive die cuts and ephemeras. I used the July kits for this summery layout of my son playing in the pool with our sweet dog Fiona.

 

 

My attention was driven to the cute beach umbrellas from the HKC exclusives as my starting point. I created a bigger one, cutting some triangles from the Echo Park Sunshine Floral Paper, watercoloring other triangles and stitching them all together for a focus point on my layout behind my photo.

 

 

 

 

I used one of the gorgeous watercolored Pinkfresh Studio papers as my background, adding just a little bit of blue and aqua splatters to accent my embellishments.

 

 

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Puffy Phrase Stickers and their White Puffy Alphabet Stickers for my title and did some stitching on the letters and on my background paper with white thread.

 

 

Then, I just kept adding and adding plenty of the HKC exclusive Hello Summer Ephemeras (main kit) and Floral Die Cuts (embellishment kit) on my page. Yes, they are SO GORGEOUS…that it was kind of hard to stop…!

 

Those HKC exclusives from the July kits are small, colorful and so versatile, we just can’t get enough of them !

 

So here is the final result and some close-ups. Yes, a boy’s page with pink…why not ?! I truly hope you like it !
