MOOD BOARD & PAINTING DOTS WITH SARAH BARGO

Hey there sweet friends! Sarah here with my very first blog post on this amazing team woohoo! I’m so excited to be here!

We have a gorgeous mood board for you today!

Isn’t it so lovely and springy?! The first thing that popped out at me were not only the pretty colors, but the little black polka dots! I just love them! I created my own, and I want to show you how I did it! It’s a super fun & easy technique to do with simple items you probably already have in your crafty space!

First, you’ll need these supplies: a slice of cardstock from the Cardstock Kit, craft paint, and a pencil with a brand new eraser.

Now, just dip your pencil eraser into the paint getting a good amount on there, but not TOO too much.. (maybe take a practice run and try it out on a scratch piece of paper before you commit if you’re nervous!)

Then press the painty eraser down firmly onto the cardstock, and keep repeating until you get the desired look you want, and voila! Darling painty polka dots! I love how some of them still have white in them from the pretty textured paper, it makes it look more artsy fartsy!

Such a fun little technique to do if you feel like playing 😉 and the best part is that you can use any color paint and any surface you want!

After your polkies dry, go ahead and add all of your lovely layers and other goodies from the Hip Kits!

On this layout I used goodies from the Main Kit and the Project Life kit!

Thank you so much for joining me here today, have a beautiful day!
