Hi everyone, Anke here with you today. Welcome to Mixed Media Monday. Today I’m sharing a layout for which I used the October Color Kit.
I started with stamping and fussy cutting some branches. Then I dyed pieces of twine using the Pop Art Pink Vibez spray which is included in the October Color Kit.
The next step was coloring the background of my layout. I used a piece of foil to apply the colors and create a watercolor effect. Finally I added some splatters of pink and yellow.

I arranged the branches to create a wreath. Then I added my Photo, layered with some leaves and other diecuts from the Main– and the Embellishment Kit. Finally I embellished it with a thread bow made with the dyed twine. I really like how this turned out.
For my title I combined the word October which I cut out from a Project Life Card and the Alpha Stickers from the Project Life. Finally I embellished the page with some enamel dots and hearts.
