Hey everyone, its Raquel here with you today sharing my latest Hip Kit layout that features a Halloween theme and was inspired by the current October Mood Board.

Here is the layout that I created:

I had to use a but of creative licence when I drew from this mood board as I still had the ‘halloween’ theme in the back of my mind too. I used the purple and orange that were included in the board, some of the gingham print and also the circular look of the letters. Sometimes mood board inspiration can be the smallest thing that triggers a layout design. 

Here are some detailed shots of my layout. I used one of the Halloween themed cut files available in the store. The subject of my layout is my little girl, the photos were taken last halloween.

I searched through both the September 2018 kits and the October kits for orange or purple embellishments that would work on the page. The Paige Evans floral ephemera pack had just the right tones for this layout thankfully.

The ‘boo’ from the title was also from a cut file set available in store. I love how the stickers and the cut out font worked so well together. 

The webs cut from black card stock really add contrast to the page. I love the pop that they bring.
