Hello all lovely Hip Kit Club Fans! Terhi here sharing my inspiration for the Weekly Sketch Challenge we have on Hip Kit Club Group on Facebook.

This week’s sketch is a beautiful wreath-like design, which gave me several ideas. Should I do some sewing, mixed media on the background, maybe paint a circle… But I ended up taking one of the most amazing exclusive cut files we have at Hip Kit Club website and cut it out using one of the patterned papers from July 2018 kits.

While I was cutting the wreath with my Silhouette, a little accident happened. Well, not an accident, but a tiny problem. My paper wasn’t adhered as good to the cutting mat as it should have been. So if you take a close look to these photos here, you can see the leaves and blooms are not even. The papers shook a bit.

I was almost throwing the whole thing to the waste paper basket, but I gave it another change. It actually looks quite interesting with uneven design!

To make the layout more pretty, I added some drops of watercolors from the July 2018 Color kit. Just some here and there to bring color, but not too much to cover the lovely wreath.

Hope you’ll notice the exclusive ephemera, too! In July 2018 kits we were spoiled with exclusive products, my favorite!
