Hello Hip Kit friends! For those of you in the States–Happy Fourth of July! And those elsewhere–Happy Wednesday! Michelle here with you to share an idea for using the fun frames and chipboard from Pinkfresh Studio that are included in the June Kits!
When I see a frame, my first thought is never, “Let’s put a picture in it!” Lol. For one reason or another, I usually resist their natural purpose and instead find other ways to incorporate them. For this project, I chose to use the frame as a place for my journaling.
It looks like I typed my journaling straight onto my page, but that’s not the case. I cannot type a straight line for the life of me, so instead, I typed my journaling onto the back of a 4×6 journaling card after I lightly traced the frame with a pencil. When I was finished, I cut it down to size and layered it under the frame.
One of the other great pieces in the kits, is the chipboard shapes that are also from Pinkfresh. I particularly loved the black plaid and wished I had more of it! I stapled both down with my tiny attacher to finish them off.
Thanks for stopping by today!
