Hi everyone, Michelle Whorwood here with my first layout with the June 2018 Hip Kits and boy am I in love with this month’s kits.   I know I say this every month but June 2018 is just so perfect!!

Today I have a layout which is a product focus post but also inspired by our June 2018 Moodboard. As soon as my kit arrived, I basically teared it apart and admired all the goodies – I just fell in love with the Pretty Little Studio Savannah Dreams collection designed by the fabulous Kim Watson so I decided to create a layout based on all the different PLS products in all the kits.  Here is what I created:

I was inspired by a photo my daughter actually took of herself, I love how she has managed to ‘capture’ herself in contemplation, I love how it isn’t posed, there is no smiling but just in deep thought.  With this in mind I really wanted to create a peaceful, almost moody layout, inspired by the black elements in the Moodboard but also adding in soft pastel colours and white on white elements.  The Savannah Dreams collection is stunning!   My favourite things from the collection would have to be the white tags and the labels both can be used in so many different ways!  I have added in some stitching for even more texture and loved layering them up under my photo and also creating some embellishment clustering above and below my photo.
