Hello Hip Kit Club fans and welcome! It’s Jung here, and I have a sketch Friday layout share with you! I am using bits and pieces from the April 2018 Main Kit, Color Kit, Embellishment Kit, and Project Life Kit.
Here is the sketch designed by Jill Sprott:
My daughter recently learned to ride her bike without training wheels. Yay! Of course I took tons of pictures so I could scrapbook them!
This week’s sketch is not my typical style, but I decided to fully embrace it, and be inspired by it. That’s the beauty of sketches…it encourages us to try something we normally wouldn’t.
I started with the stencil from this month’s color kit, and a pink distress oxide ink (from a previous color kit). Then I chose some coordinating papers from the kit. I chose the yellow paper to match my daughter’s helmet.
I picked 3 photos that would tell the story, one of her ready to learn, one of her and my husband, and one of her riding on her own. I then embellished each one of the photos with flowers and puffy stickers.
For my title, I chose the HKC exclusive ombre puffy alpha stickers! The color & size are perfect for my page! They might be my favorite item from the kits. What are your favorites?
I’m so happy with how my layout turned out, and I’m glad I was challenged by the sketch! I hope you were inspired to get crafty!
