Instead of a real “product focus” today, I am focusing on a color scheme. Green + yellow. I often am inspired by color and I always love a challenge to use a color or two specifically. I used the March 2018 Hip Kits for this page, pulling out anything and everything green or yellow and thank goodness I had the March 2018 Color Kit to help out!
For my grid I used the project life cards from the Project Life Kit. These cards I cut to 2.5 x 2.5 inches using the part of the card I liked the most. These cards have sweet yellow and green patterns on them and work perfectly with a splattered background.

The brown wood like word Thicker was too bold for this layout so I messily painted it with green acrylic paint from my stash.
And my photo did not work in color. We were wearing pink and blue and grey, so I changed it to black and white to work with the green and yellow.
I fussy cut butterflies from a 4×6 project life card and from a vellum embellishment. I also used butterfly stickers and chipboard stickers to embellish my page.
Lastly, I hid some typed journaling and added a little pull tab from patterned paper. Thats all! And I love how it turned out!
