Library Day | Michelle Wedertz

Mixing up alphas to make a title is a fun way to jazz up a layout and today I am going to share a project where I did just that!

Library Day 1

When creating a multi-alpha title, contrast is always a good thing to keep in mind when picking out your fonts. For this layout, I mixed two alphas from the January Embellishment and Project Life Kits.  Both of the alphas were similar in that they were both on the “skinny” side, but they contrasted in height, color, and texture.

Library Day 3

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

I think the trickiest part to using more than one alpha is deciding where to line them up. To help me with this I stick my letters to transparent rulers that way I can play with their placement before committing.

Thanks for stopping by today!
