Happy Wednesday! If you’re experiencing the mid-week blahs, we’ve got just the cure: join Jill, Terhi, and Jung in pulling out your Hip Kit Club January Main Kit, reaching for the Vicki Boutin watercolor stickers, and getting crafty!
Jill worked them into this colorful page about her daughter’s travels to a much-loved place:
After painting the stickers with watercolor paint in shades of yellow, aqua, and pink, she arranged them behind the die-cut title so that they would peek out through the negative space.
Jill also tucked the stickers into the layers of her layout, along with the journaling.
Check out how Terhi used the watercolor stickers on her project:
Hey there! As I love quick and easy techniques, these watercolor stickers are my new favorite! I recorded my creation process to a video, so take a look!
Here’s the video:

Instead of using paint, Jung added color to the stickers with copic markers, resulting in this lovely page:
Hello friends! I loved working with the Vicki Boutin watercolor stickers. The stickers are great, especially since you can use them as is (black & white), or you can color them whatever colors to suit your project. I used copic markers to color some of the stickers, and I left some black and white. I also fussy cut some of the stickers, and left some as is with the white border.
I used bits and pieces from all the January 2018 kits: the Main Kit, the color kit, the project life kit, and the embellishment kit. I hope I inspired you to get crafty!
We loved working with these unique and versatile stickers, which complement the kit contents so beautifully. Now we just need to make it to the weekend, where even more crafty time awaits us!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
