Hello and Happy Monday! Today Audrey and Kim are sharing pages they’ve created using mixed media and focusing on the Vicki Boutin Watercolor Stickers that come in the January main kit!
Audrey
The watercolor stickers are just gorgeous, and I love how you can add different kinds of media to them.
As I was creating this page, however, I had a lot of bright colors from the floral die cuts, so I thought that leaving the watercolor stickers mostly black and white would provide more interest to my page by adding in pattern, but not color.
The package include butterflies, florals, phases, planner-like stickers and more!
I used the Picked Raspberry and spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks from the Color Kit this month to add in some splatters.
Enjoy this gorgeous kit and have fun with the stickers, especially!
Kim
I was hoping my January kits would be delivered on time, but alas…they are only scheduled to come today, so I have another page using the gorgeous Dec kits to share with you today.
Please note: The Alpha Stickers are exclusives from the Oct 2017 Main kit
I created a fabulous background using a piece of the cold-press watercolor paper from the October color add-on and the Shimmerz Paints Snow Way Man Vibez from the December Color add-on. My Process video will show you exactly how I created it ;D
My thoughts for this page were to use as many of the cute sentiment stickers as I could from this kit…then I saw that llama & I thought it might be fun to make him the narrator for the page with a play on words for the title.
Llama tell you something…making this page was loads of fun LOL! (so very corny haha!)
Aren’t those Maggie Holmes pom-pom frames just the cutest? I adore how they make everything look so 3D. By not sticking anything down flat on the page, it creates awesome shadows, lifting all the elements off the background. I love the tactile result.
I hope you have enjoyed this inspiration. Be sure to check in tomorrow for more from out talented DT. Happy Monday friends XX
