Hey HKC friends it’s Elsie here with some layout inspiration using only the November Main Kit!
I hope I’m not the only one who collects a million and one small bits of scrap paper that are too large to justify throwing away, but are small enough that you never think to reach for them.
I want to save every last scrap of the gorgeous November kits, so I’ve managed to accumulate a rather large pile of scraps that I don’t know how to use.
But, I’ve come up with an easy way to use the scraps on a festive layout. And so I’ve created lots and lots of presents on my page!
I trimmed each scrap down to a square or rectangle, and I wasn’t concerned about being accurate with their sizes because the more mis-matched the were, the easier it was to achieve a whimsical look!
I used branding strips and small off-cuts of paper to create the paper ribbons and bows to place on the presents, but I also used some ribbon from my stash on some of the presents for a more 3D look!
I piled them on top of each other at odd angles to achieve a more whimsical look and that’s it! This was a super easy look to achieve and I was so pleased to use my paper scraps to create such a large statement piece!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re inspired to give this a try on your next layouts!
