Hello Hip Kit Club fans!
Welcome to be inspired by Irit, Ashley and Terhi with mixed media!
Hi! Irit here! Welcome to another mixed media Monday! This is the day to get a little messy, and we have tons of inspiration, so let’s get started!
I created a 12×12 layout, and used the color kit for my background. Here’s my finished page-
Using the goodies from the August 2017 color kit made this come together really fast. Here are some close ups, and make sure you watch the video tutorial to see how all this came together.
Here’s the video tutorial.

Hey y’all!! I’m back with a fun “mixed-media-ish” layout for you all, using the September kits!
If you’ve been following me a while, you know that I’m not a huge mixed-media person. I like simplicity and I’m not a huge fan of mess. However, I found the perfect way to use some media, without getting too-crazy-messy!
I started with some of the white card stock from our Cardstock Kit. I cut it to Project Life sizes, and then I used the stamp-set from our Embellishment Kit to create some fun backgrounds, along with “journal” cards.
I used 3 of the cards I created, 2 for actual filler cards, and the other I cut up and used as an embellishment.
I just LOVE all of the “turn the page” embellishments by Paige Evans. I used tons of pieces from that collection and it was perfect for my Easter spread.
I hope y’all love this–it was simple, but so fun to put together!
Check out my process video for more details!
I created a page featuring the beautiful August Color kit: especially the yellow watercolor and green paint.
Both the watercolor and paint are used the same way on this layout, as I wanted to show how differently they look. Yet, they work great together!
The whole process can be watched on a video, I hope you feel inspired!
Thank you all for joining the Mixed Media Monday with us!
