Laureen with you today to share a page that is – eheeeem – pink. My theme for this week was to pick a color.

Said, done and I – or better said my sister – decided on the color pink. It’s her favorite color and the layout is a gift for her, so why not let her decide on which color I’ll use 😉
I used the beautiful May 2017 kits for my page!

The color kit from May is beyond amazing and I actually enjoy creating with it on my scrapbooking layouts – when I am usually everything except a Mixed Media person.
I picked out the two pink shades from the colors and painted some simple strokes down the middle and also spritzing a few drops here and there.

The cut file is the exclusive cut file Kim desinged for May and I simply cut that out of white cardstock and backed it a bit of vellum.

Embellishing was fairly easy for this one – I simply picked out all the pink embellishments from the kit that would match the photo and layered them around my picture and over the cut file or tucked some behind the cut file.

And that, my friends, is how you create a layout Barbie would be proud of! My sister loves it – I love that she loves it – we are all happy 😉
