Hello everybody! It’s Jessica with you today, sharing another layout with you using the May kits. I tried out a new format for the first time (8.5″x11″), and it was super exciting for me – and so, so much fun! It’s definitely a format I’ll be reaching out to here and then, even though it won’t replace my standard 12″x12″ size. If you want, check out my process video below. Anyway, enough talking, here’s what I created:

My assignment for today was to use mixed media – now in my case that means: colors! The color add on contained the Tropicals watercolor set by Prima Marketing, I can’t express how squeaky I was once I found out that we would get them. The pans are rich and vibrant, they’re also very easy to use and will definitely be seen on my future layouts a lot. Here’s what the roses looked like without my embellishments:

Yes, the colors are THIS vibrant! Awesome, right? (okay, I admit that the colors were still wet as I snapped the photo, but they don’t fade a lot once dried). If you haven’t had the chance to grab a set of these amazing watercolors, you should definitely consider getting them in your next order!

 

 

Those colors make me happy! The exclusive puffy stickers designed by Kimberly herself are such a great addition to the lovely embellishments and papers that we got in the May kits. Yay for exclusives any day, right? Did you also see the cute gold foiled feathers? These are exclusive die cuts. I would order the kit for just that pack of ephemera, I’m serious. No lies. For real. Definitely.
