Hey Hip Kit Club fans! Nicole back again to share another off the page project. I made some quick cards last month with my kits and decided to do that again this month using my April kits!
Last month, I added paint to my card set, and today I made cards using my score board in three different ways! I mentioned last week that I am really am trying to use some of those tools I have forgotten about, so dusting off my score board seemed like a good use for this project.

I started with my trusty circle punch and one of my favorite techniques – scoring the punched circles to create a quilted background on my card.

The pretty patterned paper in the kit is perfect for this technique. It’s a great way to kill your kit too and stretch your supplies.

Next, I created a pleated paper “ribbon” for my card by scoring a strip of patterned paper. I ended up covering too much of it, will remember not to do that next time.

Lastly, I used my score board to score the mint cardstock in the cardstock kit to create a textured background. So easy and a great look for the base of a card.

I really love how that gold glitter acetate sheet from the Paper kit looks over top of the textured cardstock. Pretty, right?!

That’s it for me today! I hope you are inspired to kill your kits by making a few cards… and dust off those tools along with me too!

share your projects with us in the Hip Kit Club Facebook group too!
