Hey everyone! Nicole back on the blog today sharing one last page with the February Hip Kits! I used mainly the Main Kit on this page and challenged myself a little bit with this one.
Truth is, I am a patterned paper person. I can’t even imagine a page without some patterned paper on it. Well, except now, I can. I only used one piece of patterned paper on this page and that was just for the base of the layout. For me – that is unusual as I am not a mixed media person with the ability to jazz up a simple sheet of paper into an artistic creation!

Instead, I used ephemera as my jumping point. Sometimes you just need to let the kit do the work for you – in this case, it was the Crate Paper Chasing Dreams Ephemera Pack that did the work for me.
The great thing about using an ephemera pack like this – it all just goes. The guess work is totally removed from the whole layout planning process and you can just play!
