DIY Traveler’s Notebook Insert | Irit Landgraf

Hi and happy valentine’s day! Irit here and today I have something fun and different to share with you! I used my beautiful January 2017 kits to create my own Traveler’s Notebook insert. Here’s my finished project-

I used my favorite paper from the main kit as my cover, and added a layer of vellum from the cardstock kit for a softer look.

For the pages in my insert I used different patterned paper. Some the full size of my notebook and some cut down. I like the variety of different sizes.

For my embellishments I used the pretty goodies from the January kits. This is such a great way of using those bits and pieces! Since there are so many die cuts and stickers in the kits, I find it easier to keep my color schemes simple, with one or two main colors per spread. This way my choices are narrowed down and my process is faster. Here’s a spread with a blue and green colors scheme.

Here’s a slideshow with some more images of my insert. And of course, as always, I created a video tutorial showing how this came together, just scroll down to see it.
