Hi everyone! Jessica back with a Project Life spread from back in November. I don’t know about you, but I still gave gaps in my 2016 album that I want to fill before fulling embracing my 2017 album.

Week 44 documents the first date my husband and I had in weeks after I was hit with pretty bad “morning” sickness in my first trimester. We went to a restaurant on the water and had some great seafood.

For this spread, I’m using the January Project Life Kit and really focusing on a pink/navy/light blue color scheme.

My title card is from the January Paper kit, which I just cut down to 4×6 around the pattern I liked the best, then used the thickers from the January Embellishment kit to spell out my title. My title card includes the date stamp (which I used washi tape to prevent the pattern from going all the way around) and a small piece of ephemera from the kit.

I’m such a sucker for wood veneers, so I was super excited that this kit came with a ton! I used a few of the die cut pieces to jazz up a plain card and put that cutout heart in the middle.

For another filler card, I used the die cuts along with a Pink Paislee puffy sticker to add just a hint of yellow.

Finally, I rounded out my wood veneers (I like to work in pairs of three) with this adorable “remember” script one and that’s it! How are you coming on your 2016 album?
