Hi! Irit here with a new layout using the lovely October kits! My theme this week was Tell The Story, and here’s my finished layout-
Since I wanted to use the gorgeous Pink Paislee Thickers from the October main kit, I decided to have two titles. One from that set, and one using black foam thickers from the September embellishment kit. I love those thickers, since they come in two sizes, and thus perfect for creating titles in different sizes.

Since I really wanted the story and the photo to be the focus of this layout, I chose a limited color palette, with pops of black and white. Cutting the exclusive cut files from the same cardstock I used as my background is a great way for tone on tone detail, which adds a lot of interest to the design, without being too busy. Luckily, the cardstock kit comes with two of each color!
My finishing touches were Maggie Holmes Gather stickers from the September embellishment kit, and Simple Stories clear stickers from the October PL kit. I added some gold splatters using the spray from the October color kit called Oh Glorious Day.
