HERE & NOW FAMILY | JESSICA COLE

Hi everyone! Jessica here today to share with you my latest project life spread using the October 2016 kits.

Let me set the stage for you, the week prior to this, we had traveled up north for a friends wedding. That entire week/end was dedicated to celebrating her special day, which was amazing! So when we returned home, it felt wonderful just to stay in and spend time with each other.

I used the The We R Memory Keeper’s “Honey, I’m Home” paper as the base for this layout. I couldn’t believe how many cards and tiny embellishments I could get from this one sheet.

My title card uses the adorable letter stickers from Simple Stories in the Project Life kit and the heart and flower puffy stickers from the same We R Memory keepers line. The card itself is one of the HKC exclusive Project Life cards.

The entire left side of the spread includes photos of my family from the week. You can tell we didn’t do much during the week beside watch movies and snuggle.

I don’t typically include a lot of journaling in my layouts, but I do like to have some words. The card in the left hand corner has five things about my husband and I right now. I just cut this card apart, sized it up in photoshop, and ran it through my printer.

I’m a huge fan of photo booth strips, but I never actually see them in real life. I took matters into my own hands and downloaded an app called Insta Booth and took a few selfies on my exciting Friday night. I cut them in half and adhered the ephemera badge (found in the We R Memory Keepers ephemera pack in the Scrapbook kit) to add some pink to this side.

I felt like there was too much heavy color happening, so I took a piece of white card stock and made my own card layering pieces from the same ephemera pack from above. I’m a huge fan of white space, so this card did the trick for me.
