Loving life, loving these kits, loving to document! I love right now….
I’m back with two new projects using the August 2016 Hip Kits! Yay!!! I. Seriously. Love. These. Kits!
I started with a white background and focused on the sketch designed by Ashley Horton—it’s brilliant!

I started by trimming my papers and then cut a fishtail banner at the end of each one. I then placed my papers going diagonally across the page. The papers I used were Amy Tangerine “Oh Happy Life” and Dear Lizzy “Saturday.” I (very roughly) sewed the top of these banners and then placed my photo (with lots of layers) right on tip.
I used the Amy Tangerine Thickers from the Main Kit for my title and then began to layer ephemera (from the Main Kit) right around my layers. I added a few butterflies from the “Cute Girl” collection that came in our Embellishment Kit. In addition, I used a recent learned technique of placing clear stickers onto white cardstock so that they instantly become ephemera–The clear stickers I used were from the Project Life Kit and they are designed by Amy Tangerine.
Lastly, I added some india ink because why not?

For my second project, I created a PL spread documenting Week 5 of 2016. Ok, I’m a little behind but at least I’m trying, right? I used PL cards from our PL Kit and I have to admit, I went a little crazy with those Black Clear Stickers by Dear Lizzy (Saturday)–those came in our Embellishment Kit.
I then added a few ephemera pieces, as well as Cute Girl puffy stickers, and a sweet little bow clip.
This one was a blast to create!!!
