Hey everyone, Raquel here today with a new layout featuring the gorgeous May Kits. For this layout I was inspired by the geometric design of one of the exclusive papers by Kim Watson so I decided to create a similar design in a colour palette of my choice from the kits. I focused on yellow, grey and navy tones.

I used one of the exclusive cut files for June on this layout and created a white card stock and vellum light bulb. I backed the bottom of the bulb in the spot from the exclusive striped paper. The top part of the bulb I just backed with vellum. I love the transparent look it gives, and it also allows you to be able to read the white ‘shine’ text.
I also added veneer arrows to direct your attention inwards to the title and then flowing to the photo.
I created a cluster to the right of my photo. It contains some of the exclusive ephemera, that gorgeous Bella Boulevard Bow, a Bella Boulevard enamel hearts, and some Jillibean Soup veneer. 
I also added a puffy sticker scalloped border under my photo layers. I love how cute it looks!
The photo layers are mainly patterned papers with a doily from my stash. I have adhered the whole photo mat to the page with foam. 
I machine stitched around the edges of the paper pieces to give a little more detail and definition to each piece. I then simply folded in the edges to add some dimension. 
In terms of design this layout is a little different for me as it is using a lot of patterned paper, however I hope you have enjoyed this post today.
