Planner Dashboard and Amy Tan in a Project Life Spread

Happy Tuesday! Anita here with two new projects this week. The first is a planner dashboard I created with the May 2016 kits. As soon as my kits arrived, I knew I wanted to do something special with those adorable exclusive puffy stickers from the Embellishment Kit. I created a new dashboard for my planner so that every time I open my planner, I get to see that cute little bird along with an inspiring motivational quote card. I chose one of the exclusive patterned papers from the May 2015 Paper Kit, added a card from the Project Life kit and added several puffy stickers and that sweet little bow from the Embellishment Kit as a final touch. I love how it turned out and love looking at my new dashboard every time I open my planner!

I also created a new Project Life spread. Last week, I had the opportunity to take a class with Amy Tan at my local scrapbook store. Amy’s classes are always so much fun and I decided to document my fun evening in my Project Life album. I took lots of photos and chose my favorite ones to highlight in this spread. The cards in this month’s Project Life kit were so colorful and fun and were perfect for my photos from Amy’s class. In addition to the cards, I added several embellishments including more of the Hip Kit exclusive puffy stickers, a Simple Stories chipboard frame and one of the exclusive acrylic arrows, all from the embellishment kit. I also added a puffy heart sticker and some wood veneer word strips from the Project Life kit. Finally, I typed up my journaling and cut it into strips to add to the colorful card on the bottom right side. Here are some close-up shots of my pages as well as the full spread.
