Hello Hip Kit fans. It’s Anna here with my off the page project. You will also find a process video at the end of this very long post filled with tons of photos. It’s May already and it means that spring is here for good. I love May with it’s fresh, colorful flowers, vivid green grass and clear, blue sky. I think that this is my favorite month of the year. I love creating with spring pictures, I love taking spring pictures (as much as I love photographing fall).
This year I haven’t a chance to capture any spring themed photos so I reached for my last year albums and I chose my favourite may pictures to create cute, little mini album. I was very inspired by Project life cards from April 2016 Project Life Kit designed by Kim Watson and Kimberly Hutchison.
I used this gorgeous exclusive paper designed by Kim Watson for my cover. You can find it in April 2016 Main Kit. I also used coordinating yellow paper from April 2016 Cardstock Add On Kit.
I took a lot of pictures of this mini album and I couldn’t decide which should I pick for this post so I chose all of them 🙂 So be aware – You will be bombed by photos. April kits are filled with so many embellishments that making this mini was really fast. I recorded a process video and it shows pretty much everything, what I’ve done. I think it took me a little more than an hour to create this mini from scratch.
This yellow puffy alphas from Pinkfresh Studio (April 2016 Main Kit) are perfect for spring projects. I also love this epoxy frame manufactured by Pinkfresh Studio too. You can find them in April 2016 Project Life kit.
Amy Tangerine “Better together” rub-ons from April 2016 Main Kit look fantastic on light background. I add few of them to my album.
Working with acetate words from Pinkfresh Studio (April 2016 Main Kit) was really fun. And there are plenty of inscriptions in one package so you can create tons of projects with them.
Shimelle “Star Shine” clear stickers from April 2016 Embellishment Kit are very versatile and them match perfectly to my spring pictures.
My last photo – collage of few close-ups.
And a promised process video. I rarely make such a long videos but this time I wanted for You to see how simple it is to create this kind of mini album. And one thing – if You don’t own binding tool You can also use album rings and a puncher (to make holes in pages).
See You on sunday during Hip Kit Club Online Crop. You don’t want to miss it 🙂
Anna
Beautiful album!
