I was looking through my 2015 Project Life album recently and it struck me that I’d really like a summary of at least each of my kids for that year. When I saw the happy colors of the March kits, I knew that this was the right kit for the project.
I used the exclusive cards designed by Kimberly Hutchinson and paired them with the PinkFresh Studio puffy stickers from the March Project Life kit and the PinkFresh two-toned wood veneer from the Main kit.
I had a photo from my daughter’s 5th birthday that I wanted to prominently feature so I split it up between two 4×6 pockets. I tried to select photos that represented something meaningful in her life that year.
The paint is digital paint added to my photos before printing out. I chose colors that I thought would complement the March kits well.
I got quite painty on this side but I think it all works out great to highlight the colors of the photos and to bring focus to the stories being told in the journaling.
The Elle’s Studio wood veneer tag from the Project Life kit was the perfect addition to this photo representing my daughter learning how to read last year.
I really like how this little year in photos went and will definitely be repeating the process next week with some photos of my son!
