Happy Monday crafty friends, Kim here!
Today I am excited to share a new page using the January 2016 kits. Having gorgeous photographs of my beautiful niece & her new husband of 3 days made putting this page together so easy.

Their love is so evident in their faces & the shots so emotional, I wanted to make sure nothing on the page overshone them. The calendar paper from Crate paper was the perfect background…a piece of vellum with Heidi Swapp’s texture paste hearts using the stencil found in the January Color kit, knocked back the text slightly, making ‘space’ for my photos. Isn’t that wide washi tape gorgeous. I used a strip in the center of the page to ground the design.

The MME journal card pack has a fabulous variety of cards, sizes & diecuts. I used one of the diecut speech bubbles as a mat for this secondary title; stitching, MME brads & rub-on give it a more interest.

The main photograph was enclosed in a MME frame, layered over a journal card. I adore the vintage floral pattern which is so well suited to my niece’s love of anything nostalgic 🙂 MME brads & chipboard elements jazz things up nicely.

Another MME journal card, fancied up with a chipboard button, brads, twine & moulded heart, make it extra special.

Hearts & butterflies…what better way to embellish a page about young love. The MME rub on sheet found in the January Embellishment kit is of a fantastic quality, going on well over washi tape & vellum. The add such cute whimsy to the page. A beautiful page about a special couple.
I am busy with a series of these pages in an album to give to them as a gift & can’t wait for them to return from honeymoon, so I can give it to them. Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have found this inspiring!
