Hello everyone ! I hope you are having a great Sunday. Christin here today. Here in this part of Norway where I live Winter break just started and for us that means spending time outdoors and skiing and time for me to scrap… For this layout with the February 2016 Kits (I have used the Embellishment kit, the main kit and the PL Kit.
I started coloring my background with subtle colors, I didn’t want the background to steal the thunder this time. Then I added one big and two smaller strips of paper on top of my page. I wanted to bring out more all the fun colors in the Amy Tangerine paper and used all these colors in the rest of the layers underneath my photos. This I used Photoscape to combine these three photos. When I first used a very linear approach to design it’s nice to add to that feeling.
On this layout I only used half of the February cutfile made by Kim Watson and I also did some png file editing and removed the text before I cut it. I only have the first Silhouette so I was forced to cut a smaller version of the file. Both the multicolored main paper and the heart embellishment all had some stitching in it and I added some string art to the cutfile.
I also added some stitches between the different layers of paper in the colors of the paper.
For this layout I also had a lot of fun mixing the different alphabets in the kit. I think I used 7 different fonts on this layout. I hope I have inspired you to use lots of letters.
