Today I just want to share some love – Love for all the Mums (Moms) out there who take the time to document their families history despite the fact their life is already jam packed. Until Eva was born I had no idea what a huge challenge this was. Seriously, this post alone was totally dependant on someone taking a nap and sadly that wasn’t me.
I love creating my Project Life spreads, but sometimes I really lament the fact that it takes me a million nap times to finish one. Sometimes I crave the ability to create something from start to finish in just one sitting. So when I broke out my Hip Kits this week, I thought I’d just play for those peaceful, sweet, 45 minutes and this is what I got.

I printed a quick instax from my phone. It’s not the greatest photo, but at the time I was so proud of my tiny little baby bump and while I was waiting for it to develop, I glitter embossed a few of the wood veneer hearts from the PL kit. At the time I had no idea how or where I would use them. I just like the smell. Just Kidding.
I struggle with titles, so if I can get my hands on pre-made ones all the better. This one comes from the Cest La Vie Cut Apart sheet in the main kit. Clearly you can see by this photo the paint splatters where an after thought.
Finally, I journaled on one of the brilliant Heidi Swapp tags and mounted it on one of Maggie Holmes hearts from the Embellishment kit. *Drops the Mic* And I’m done with enough time to enjoy a hot cup of tea and a sandwich. Seriously though, hats off to all you Mum’s out there who do this all the time.
It takes a real commitment and love for your hobby to devote what precious little time you have for yourself to this craft.
I know Kimberly and Kim really appreciate that you have so much faith in them to pick and create your beautiful kits each and every month, but personally – you all inspire me and I really hope to pick up more of your ‘express’ scrapbooking tips along the way.
