Today I’d like to show you a small 8×8 page I made as an insert for my Project Life album. I love doing this to highlight a picture that would end up being a small 3×4 in my album. I am in love with these gorgeous papers found in the February 2016 Main kit!
That black and white subtle flower prints is so classy, it was perfect to document the “father-daughter danse”. I added just a little touch of very vibrant color with the Amy Tangerine patterned paper and some more coral pink (Pink Paislee) that was going hand in hand with my daughter’s dress.
I added lots of dimension to my page by adding some gorgeous chipboard pieces from the Shimelle chipboard elements pack. Check out the February 2016 Embellishment kit to find these. The colors are just so fun! And I also wrote the title with chipboard letters from American Crafts (February 2016 Project Life kit). I stitched in the center of the flower in circle with gold thread.
I loved picking out stickers in the Amy Tangerine’s sticker booklet (February 2016 Project Life kit) which holds lots of fun little icons and also journaling spots. Perfect!!
Some touches of gold here and there coming from the Maggie Holmes sticker sheet (February 2016 Project Life kit) and from the Pink Paislee ephemera pack (February 2016 Main kit) was the perfect finishing touch to add class and shine.
Voilà. I hope you enjoyed my page and was inspired to make something pretty. Wishing you a great Thursday!!
