Hello friends!! I hope your Monday has gotten off to a great start?? My project today is based on the weekly sketch designed by Ashley Horton shared on in the Hip Kit FB forum, using the pretty January kits!

Using the super idea of concentric circles I machine stitched them over a mixed media background. The effect is lovely with needle holes punched into the gesso & Shimmerz paint found in the January color kit. I also used the heart stencil I designed together with some of the fabulous gold texture paint from Heidi Swapp to scatter golden hearts around the page.
The faceted wooden heart was just calling to have the little sections filled with patterned paper. The result is this super cool eye catching heart accent! Above it I placed one of the EXCLUSIVE vellum die cut words included in this kit, designed by Kimberly Hutchinson.
A mixture of texture hearts, chipboard stickers, gold glitter stickers & paint, makes for great, artsy clusters around the page.
When it came to my journaling, I thought it might be fun to use the conversational stickers from MME to do it. They are slightly grunged, so worked well with the mixed media vibe of my page!
Here is another idea for a cluster…layered cardstock from Crate paper, Chipboard, Puffy Stickers, textured hearts, alpha stickers & paint…just so pretty!!!!
Lastly my photo…layered with different patterns, chipboard & a sparkly bow. The finishing touches on a super cute page 😀
