Did you see the January kits? They are just amazing. Yesterday I sat down with all my kits played out in front of me, ready to make a PL layout, when suddenly I had the urge of making a traditional layout. I just wanted to not be restricted to a 4×6 or 3×4 pocket. So I thought maybe it’s time to bring into my PL album another kind of pocket: meet the 8×8!

I just love this mini page I made, showcasing a favorite photo and story of mine that might have gotten lost in the middle of a PL spread. I also like that this page makes me stop, when I look at my album, and gives me a break of the business of the rest of the album. For me it’s just like when I read a book, there are moments in the book where it slows down, and then it picks up momentum again.
I don’t think I’ll do a page like this every week, but I’m thinking that a couple of pages of my most favorite stored/photos, will make me enjoy the rest of my album even more, if that makes sense.
