Share the Joy | Kim Watson

With the Christmas spirit heavy in the air & jingle bells playing in just about every store you walk into…I am excited to share with you, my 1st Christmas layout using the fabulous November kits. For me, This pageĀ is a celebration of Christmas, & why this time of year is so special to me & my family!

To start, I splattered some gorgeous metalic gold mist from Heidi Swapp, onto the white background mimicking falling snow. You can find it in the November color kit. Then using some of the Hip Kit Club free NovemberĀ cut files, designed by Ashley Horton, I cut out x4 large patterned paper trees. Pop dots in places, makes them nice & 3D.

Layering mini trees, both from the Pink Fresh ephemera pack & die-cut vellum, adds super interest & creates extra dimension to the page.

Sweet gift piles, lifted with foam squares, really gives one the feeling of gifts under the tree.

Dress your Christmas trees with enamel dots, wood veneer accents, die cuts foam sentiments, acrylic die cuts & flair for a super festive vibe!

Lastly, add a journal block. I typed my journaling onto a strip of vellum, adhering it with a gold glitter star.

I hope this layout today hasĀ inspired you to crack out your NovemberĀ kitĀ & get some holiday scrapping done! So glad you stopped by the blog!
