Christmas traditions are something I’ve been documenting for years. The November Hip Kit was perfect for capturing this story of my son’s wish list.

The words are the focus here so I emphasized that by making a text background. The faceted alpha in the November kit is beautiful and makes a nice clean base for the photo.

The cards included in the Embellishment kit are great for adding your story. Layering it with patterned paper and a rubber charm add color and texture to the journaling.

I added a file folder cut file from Nicole Nowosad to the photo, layering a rubber charm title and gold glitter dots. I like how it ‘lifts’ the photo from the text background.
