Welcome to another week in my Project Life album. This is the 4th project and last spread I’ll be making with Octobers Kits. It was a little bit of a stretch as I’ve already used up all my favourite supplies (*Cough* No self restraint *Cough*). So as I was browsing though Pinterest for inspiration I came across a picture of some old record covers. I was struck by how simply yet graphic they were, particularly the colour blocked ones such this Beatles one. For a whole split second I thought about changing my photos to black and white and then thought better of it.

Instead I came up with my own coloured version and I’ve got to say I am really happy with how it turned out. I love the rich colours and the balance between the two sides, but best of I love how simple it was to bring together. All you need to keep in mind is to use big blocks of colour in an impactful way and keep embellishments to a minimum.
