Good morning!! I am always happy to kick off the weekend on the blog with a new project! This one uses the July Main and Color Kits
I normally dont’ get the color kit – truth is, I leave all the fun artsy techniques to some of my fellow DT members because honestly – I am just not good at it! This month though, I did get the color kit and loved the Heidi Swapp stamp in the kit, mixed with the vibrant Tim Holtz Citron ink in the color kit also! I decided to use that stamp to create a background for my page.

Once I stamped the image over and over on the white cardstock in the add-on, I stamped my ink block and then added a few drops of water to it. I “smooshed” the ink block onto the stamped image. I changed up the colors with some distress inks from my stash.
I finished off the page with some papers and PL cards from the PL Add-on kit, and used a mixture of the AC alphas in the kit for my title! BAM!! Done super quick and easily too! I may reconsider getting the color kits more in the future!
